Transfer rumors: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Samir Nasri forced to sign a new contract proposed management club. If not willing, Nasri will be sold to Manchester City.

Wenger says the club gave a deadline until the end of this month to Nasri to think about his future. If Nasri does not sign a contract until the end of the month, then the club will throw it away to Manchester City.

I want him (Nasri) live. He knew what I wanted it. Hopefully we can sort out the players who came out in the coming weeks, Wenger said as quoted by Tribalfootbal on Friday July 22, 2011.

Wenger admitted that he had tried hard to convince the French midfielder to continue career at the Emirates. However, that decision remains in the hands of Nasri to two weeks.

Nasri's contract will expire in 2012. The Gunners midfielder was asked the club to raise his salary. However, the request was rejected by the club.
